Dr. John Wilkinson

Dr. John Wilkinson completed high school in Kitchener and graduated with a science degree from the University of Guelph.

He attended medical school at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on a mission-focused scholarship.

In 1990 he transferred to Western in London Ontario, where he completed Medicine in 1994, graduating cum laude.

He finished Ophthalmology specialty training in London in 1997.

Initially practicing in Waterloo, Dr. Wilkinson transferred his practice to Cambridge in 1999.

Teaching awards were conferred as a senior resident in London, and again as Adjunct Clinical Professor at McMaster University in 2013.

With a keen interest in combatting blindness in the developing world, Dr. Wilkinson has participated in charity projects, performing cataract surgeries in over a dozen countries on five continents around the globe.

Dr. Wilkinson is proud and honoured to practice alongside Dr. Alangh and Dr. Desai, and is excited to offer surgical services to our community through Clear Vision Surgical.
